Since our house would be below the flood plain if built on a slab, it had to be put on piers. So, the next step was to stake out the boundaries of the foundation to be able to locate where the holes would be drilled and the piers poured. The first picture shows the stakes and the temporary power pole that has been connected for use by the builder.



The second shot shows that the house across the street is coming right along, which is pretty amazing since we had so many rainy days in May and June and since that slab was poured less than a month before this picture was taken.
