It finally quit raining long enough for the piers to be poured. Rick said that it had started raining while they were pouring but they were able to finish before it got too bad. The first day I went up after they were poured, I forgot to take my camera. So, I drove up to the lake the next day with camera in hand. Unfortunately, it was raining most of the day. The first picture, in fact, was taken from inside the car because of the rain.



After the rain let up, I got out of the car and took a closer shot. You can see in the background the water pouring over the bulkhead like a waterfall.
