Today, Tuesday, July 20th, is the first time I've taken pictures in about a week. Yesterday and today work was done on the decking around three sides of the house. The first picture shows the deck on the front (lake) side. This part of the deck is eight feet wide.



The second shot shows the 6-foot deck on the west side. An extension to the roof will connect to the tall posts. This extension, which will be at an angle not as steep as the main roof, will cover the deck around the side of the house.



The third picture is another shot showing the tall posts on the side. Also, in this shot, the piers and underside of the house can be seen. This will be covered eventually - in fact, by deed restriction, it must be. We can use either lattice, solid boards, or stone. I think we have about six months to make that decision but will probably decide much sooner.



The last picture shows the 6-foot deck that extends just past the back door. There are more tall posts back here because there will be a roof in the back to cover the deck, including a gable over the door.
