A few days later and framing has begun. The first shot, taken from the main road, shows our house in the distance with our neighbor's house almost completed on the outside. Another interesting thing in this picture is the bulkhead on the right side. This section had not been completely finished when the June rains came and collapsed under the weight of all the water that got behind it.

Although you can't see them in any of these pictures, the grader and bulldozer were on our street this day and the next. Rick said that they were enlarging the cul-de-sac. That's a good thing which will make it easier for folks to turn around in the street and not be tempted to use our driveway as a turnaround!



The next shot shows the framers at work while Rick and Suzanne proceed to get a closer look.



The last two pictures are views out windows on the west side of the house, the first one being the kitchen window.
